Hi Guys,
i want to share my experience coming to work today.
As a lot of you know, i stopped taking the BRT buses for awhile now because they were getting very unreliable and therefore making me late almost everyday.

So today like other days, i got to the Iyana-ipaja bus stop and boarded a bus going to Yaba. (My route is Yaba-Obalende-Campbell Street).
The bus got full almost immediately and i was seated in front with the driver. I heard the conductor tell the driver that we would go through Ikotun but i thought he was joking because in my head i was like “How does one connect Yaba from Ikotun abi this one have mad ni”

So we started the journey and like joke, this guy enters a street, going entirely off the express and instead came out inside Iyana-Ipaja. I kept watching and telling myself that i this was my area so NO SHAKING.
After a while we were at Isheri round about and something popped up in my mind.
A younger friend of mine had given a testimony of how she had boarded a bus going to Yaba and somehow the guys turned out to be ritualist/kidnappers and took them all to some village inside Egbeda… DING DING DING!!!!!!!

Alarm bells were going off in my head but i couldn’t express it because you cannot tell. So baby girl started kabashing cuz i cannot come and die na…I havent even met my Fernandez yet!😏😏
We were now at Ejigbo when i mustered courage to ask the conductor (who was now seated between the driver and i) where we were passing.
“We go pass Isolo commot for Mushin, no fear”
Apparently i had broken the ice because everyone started laughing and said they were thinking the same thing.
The man seated behind me said he was watching and waiting to start seeing people fall asleep so that he will jump out of the bus.😅😅😅😅

Funny part was that i knew majority of the route taken (Except Isolo) but i never knew they could lead one to Mushin.

Anyhoo, i didnt get kidnapped (Obviously) and i am still laughing at how intensely i was kabashing in my spirit. 🤣🤣🤣
